«airBaltic» Introduces Economy MINI – a New Entry-level Fare, Expanding Choice for Customers

The Latvian airline airBaltic is introducing a new ticket fare, Economy MINI, an entry-level option for customers travelling with only a personal item. The new fare is available for purchase exclusively through the airline’s sales channels – website, app, and call center – starting May 6.

Economy MINI is designed for customers who prefer to travel light and need only the essentials for their journey. It includes one personal item of up to 40 x 30 x 15 cm and offers a simple, streamlined entry-level option for short business trips, weekend getaways, and other journeys where additional baggage is not typically required. Customers travelling with Economy MINI pay only for what they need – additional services such as a cabin bag, checked baggage, or meals can be added at booking. With Economy MINI, airBaltic brings its fare structure in line with a model now standard across European aviation.

airBaltic will continue to offer its existing five other ticket types that includes a cabin suitcase – three in Economy Class and two in Business Class – with Economy MINI becoming the sixth and lowest fare option. Economy MINI sits below the existing Economy BASIC fare and is available exclusively through airBaltic's website, mobile app, and call center.
